About the Author

Ian Billings - Childrens writer, childrens comedian and childrens poet

Ian Billings MA is a highly experienced educationalist with twenty years experience touring the UK and Europe delivering his writing workshops and comedy into schools, arts centres and theatres. He is a hugely accomplished children’s writer of over forty professional pantomimes, five books, numerous stage plays and CBBC’s “ChuckleVision”. Ian has recently returned from a 13 show sell out tour of Australia.

Ian offers whole school opportunities for input into literacy and formats for individualised learning. All workshops are self-contained and require the school hall.

  • Using extracts from his TV shows and books Ian uses drama strategies to develop character creation and plot generation
