Biography;
Sid is the last standing original member of the CBeebies cast of presenters and is very well known with children in most house-holds across the UK and Europe. He is also an international star of the channel, hosting it's presentation in South Africa for BBC Worldwide.
As an actor Sid has accumulated a world stage premiere, Shakespeare, No.1 U.K theatre tour, television, Radio 4 drama's and panto to his C.V. Alongside Sid's acting skills he has a highly appealing voice which makes him a beautiful, warm and engaging story reader and story teller. Sid has a host of BBC voice-over credits for infomercials, schools radio, stories and many independent credits for story reading.
As a presenter Sid has hosted his own lunchtime BBC Radio slot for BBC Sussex and Surrey. He has also presented a current affairs reality series for BBC2 and continues to thrive with CBeebies.
Sid is a trained life coach and community governor at his local nursery school.

Sid's show is a funny, energetic and educational concept for 4-9 yr olds. Using personal poetry, mime, interactivity and a few very familiar songs, you'll meet 'Sid the kid' and literally journey with him through his day - Perhaps it's just like yours? Focusing on PSHE in primary schools the show highlights issues such as health & hygiene, social responsibility, conflict and resolution as well as other curriculum focused ideas. Opening the doors to further teaching and learning, personal development, discussion and games it's a boost to the educational system. Sid's show is totally engaging, has a positive impact and delivers in an original motivational style. Not to be missed.
The masterclass/workshop; running time 60 mins

Using tried and tested warm-up routines and games the 1 hour workshop which follows Sid's show will be a masterclass in performing and as such is for a limited group of twelve. It aims to unlock some hidden talent, empower the flower, free the spirit and encourage children to trust and play safely as individuals within a group. The goal is to get children expressing and creating through physical, verbal and non-verbal communication culminating in a performance presentation.
