How it works
Just provide us with information about the needs of your school, i.e. dates, keystage, budget etc. (See Booking Form)
Class Act agency will search the database for the most suitable visitor to meet your requirements. We then book an artist on your schools behalf and confirm with the school the booking. When your school is satisfied with the booking we will send confirmation, in writing, detailing the visit.

We will invoice the school after your visitor has been.

You send the fees to us and we will pay the visitor.

Authors charge different rates
Please be aware that performers charge different rates depending on experience, length of stay, location and travel. Generally artistes charge between £250 - £500 for a day in a school. Please make it clear what your budget is at time of booking so we can negotiate accordingly.

Authors books
Your visitor may supply their own books for sale when they visit your school. Authors and poets often stay after school to sell and sign copies of their books. Book sales and signings work well if schools inform parents in advance that books will be on sale. Alternatively local bookstores will often supply schools with a selection of books on a sale or return basis. Alternatively Class Act can organise a delivery of books into your school for you.
