Andrew Fusek Peters has been performing and running workshops for all ages since 1987 as well as writing over 70 books, many with his wife Polly.
Andrew uses wild poems, tall tales, didgeridoo, juggling skills and comedy to breathe life into his books and entertain audiences from
KS1 to KS3/4.
Author visits include a performance up to 300 pupils, followed by questions, masterclass and book signing. Each visit is tailored to the needs of the individual school. He has just signed a two book deal for his novel Ravenwood with Barry Cunningham at Chickenhouse {who famously signed J.K.Rowling}. First title out in UK, USA {Scholastic} and Germany in spring 2011.

Responses to Andrew’s visits to schools:
"A fabulous performance! Both kids and staff have been talking about it ever since, and the corridors are filled with lounging kids reading copies of Poems With Attitude {no kidding!}. We had a stampede of excited kids claiming their signed copies yesterday, and every book of your has gone out on loan from the library. What better affirmation can you have than that?"
Barber Turner, Librarian, Kings Langley Secondary School

"Thank you for coming to St Giles. You were inspirational! In particular, it was great to have such an enthusiastic male role model for the boys, who weren't overly keen on poetry previously. By the end of our poetry fortnight, there was a real poetic buzz about the place"

POEMS WITH ATTITUDE
"It is rare and welcome to find a collection that speaks so directly to teenagers."
The Guardian
"I cannot emphasise how much every school needs this."

MAD, BAD & DANGEROUSLY HADDOCK, the best of A.F.P
"A highly original voice. Fusek Peters never fails to engage. This is a poet who doesn't duck from more serious issues {bullying, weapons of war, death}, but also delights in linguistic twists and turns. Often hard-hitting, sometimes accusingly gentle, here are poems that will touch the heart and prick the conscience. There's also much to entertain and amuse. A very good collection indeed."

"Will please his multitude of fans"
