Alan speaks at 150 book events a year in the UK and overseas. He was a teacher for 18 years.
Alan works with children at KS2 and 3 and leads INSET for teachers (The Trouble with Boys, Writing Across the Curriculum, The Literate Classroom.)
Primary schools:
Alan usually does a KS2 assembly then four hour long workshops.
Secondary schools:
Alan usually does a year group assembly then three or four hour-long workshops.
There is also the option of a short hour-long twilight session for staff. This adds £50 to the cost.
Alan will consider any part of the UK.
Alan can offer details of numerous schools that will testify to his ability to relate to youngsters.
