THEATRE WORKS
is run by two experienced BBC writers who spend their time delivering
VIBRANT and FUN writing workshops to primary schools.
Recent publications
include, SAM HAWKINS, PIRATE DETECTIVE and AFTERNOON
PLAY for BBC RADIO.
Theatre Works prefer
to work with KS2, though they do have A VERY SPECIAL FUN WORKSHOP FOR
KS1.
Workshops Theatre Works offer include:
WRITING RESIDENCES:
Fun, interactive WRITING workshops, making weekly visits to schools
exploring character, setting and plot.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Theatre Works have taken on a number of larger scale projects leading
classes which enable students to write and perform their own plays.
TALKING PANTS!
(TOURING SEPTEMBER 2006)
A hilarious 40 minute stand-up show written for kids about kids.
Can be followed by KS2 writing workshops on how to story-board stories.
Theatre works can be flexible and create workshops that suit your
school.
