Robert
will work with any age group from reception to secondary school and
sometimes shows groups of teachers how to make pop-ups. He can usually
fit 3-4 sessions into a day, either pop-up demonstrations or pop-up
workshops, which last 45 minutes to an hour. Robert is happy to travel
almost anywhere in the UK.
Responses to Robert's visits to schools:
'We really appreciated
it when you came to St.Michael's because you kept us busy with making
our pop-ups. I mainly enjoyed it because other authors just talk about
their books and give you bookmarks instead of a lesson'
Hannah Modra, St.
Michael's School, Aldbourne.
'Thank you so much for
coming to school last Thursday and making World Book Day so memorable
and enjoyable for the children'
St. Paul's Primary
School, Chessington
'Thank you so much for your contribution to the Primary DT conference
last Friday. The presentation of your work was fascinating and the
hands-on cardboard engineering workshop was a great hit with the
teachers, some of whom judged the session to be the highlight of their
day' East Sussex County Council
