Dr Mike Johnson has appeared in over 125 anthologies of poetry; in addition his poems have featured on CBBC and Radio Five

A former University lecturer in English Literature (specialising in The Romantics and Visual Poetry), Mike has also taught Creative Writing to adults since 1990. He has also worked in Primary Schools since that date and is currently a volunteer in his local Primary School.

Mike, a former volunteer at London Zoo, specialises in animal poems (loves dogs and chimpanzees), though he's also very keen on aliens and visual poems.
