Charlotte Firmin, illustrator of
over 25 books (and author of a few too) has been a regular visitor to
Primary, Secondary and Special schools, Libraries and Clubs in the South
East for many years.
Charlotte brings along a big, empty book in which a
story is created. There is plenty of opportunity for participation with
ideas and characters suggested by the children and the pictures
inevitably include them (and the adults too!). At the end of the visit
the book is presented to the children.
With smaller numbers the children can contribute
their own drawings or make their own versions of the story.
Publications illustrated by Charlotte include:
Alex's Bed, Alex and Roy and more
- written by Mary Dickinson
I'm Going on a Dragon Hunt and I'm Going on
a Gorilla Hunt - written by Maurice
Jones
Being Bullied, Feeling Left Out and
more - written by Kate Petty
Isn't She Clever and Aren't they Wonderful
- written by Evelyn de Jong
Weird Windows - written by Charlotte Firmin
