Andrew Collet was a teacher for over ten years and has an enormous experience of working with a wide range of young people. He has performed alongside long-standing poets such as Michael Rosen at festivals around the country. You may have seen him at The Manchester Poetry Festival, Reading Children’s Festival, The Northern Children’s Book Festival, Buzzwords, Off The Shelf or even at your school. His regular visits into schools keep him firmly in touch with the material children really want to read! His work is regularly featured on BBC radio. To date he has performed in over 800 schools across the UK.

 

Andrew has been published by all the major publishers in the UK with work represented in over 120 mainstream anthologies as well as in five best-selling collections of his own.
